In memory of Donna Cook

The Trust held a minute’s silence earlier today for UHDB colleague Donna Cook, who has sadly passed away following a long illness.

Donna joined the Trust in 2007 and worked as a support secretary in the UGI department at Royal Derby Hospital.

Donna will be remembered as a well-respected and much loved member of the team. Dressmaking, anything relating to arts and crafts, and food were passions of Donna’s and she also enjoyed ballroom dancing.

Donna loved to take on everyone’s problems and would try and solve things that others couldn’t – those she worked with knew her well for this. Colleagues say Donna had a great sense of humour and she will be dearly missed.

The team would also like to thank the Macmillan Unit here in Derby for the support they gave to Donna.

Colleagues are invited to join the minute’s silence, which will take place at the Main Entrance of Royal Derby Hospital.
