About Florence Nightingale Community Hospital

Florence Nightingale Community Hospital (FNCH) provides a range of services including inpatient rehabilitation and palliative care, and outpatient consultations in major specialities such as dermatology, ophthalmology, therapy and rehabilitation services, phlebotomy, x-ray, imaging, and diagnostic services.

The hospital also offers a range of community healthcare services provided by our local NHS partner Derbyshire Community Healthcare Services (DCHS) NHS Foundation Trust.

Florence Nightingale Community Hospital

The hospital was renamed from London Road Community Hospital to FNCH in July 2021, after honorary nursing pioneer Florence Nightingale, in recognition of her contribution to healthcare worldwide and her special contribution to its development in our historic hospitals in Derby.

FNCH is supported by Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity > and Air Arts > in making the hospital a welcoming environment, as well as helping us to improve our facilities by providing those extra touches that really make a difference to our patients, their family and friends, and our staff.
