Staff and patients are being warned that resurfacing works that are taking place outside Royal Derby Hospital may disrupt their journey.

Resurfacing works are planned to be carried out on Uttoxeter New Road, between Drewry Court and Uttoxeter Old Road from Monday, 4 July.

The works will take place on weekdays, between 09.30am and 3.30pm, and will be carried out within a temporary road closure.

During working hours signed diversion routes will be in place to direct traffic around the works, however it is expected that journeys will take longer than normal.

The works are expected to take three weeks to complete.
