Watch: Changes made to Children's Outpatients Department

Children's Outpatients team at Derby

Outpatient appointments for children have resumed at UHDB, but on your next visit, you will notice some changes.

Our teams at both Royal Derby Hospital and Queen's Hospital Burton have made a number of alterations in order to keep everyone safe and limit the spread of Covid-19.

Some of these changes include being screened at the main entrance to the department, the removal of toys and activities and only allowing one parent or carer to accompany each child to the clinic.

Debbie Reynolds, Sister in Children's Outpatients at Royal Derby Hospital said: "We want you to be reassured that we're taking all precautions to help keep you safe while attending your appointment.

"If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to a member of our team who will only be too happy to help."
