Go For It! Fund winners announced as part of Patient Experience Week 2022
The Go For It fund was set up by the Patient Experience Team to support any ideas from our colleagues that could be expanded on to improve patient experience in our hospitals.
Colleagues and teams were asked to submit their projects and the shortlisted entries were put in front of our judging panel. For the first time ever, our judging panel this year included members of our Youth Forum, alongside Trust Chair, Kathy McClean and Deputy General Manager for Patient Experience, Kerry Than.
The Patient experience Team were delighted to have been able to award funds to four projects:
- First prize (£3,000) – Gynaecology Assessment Unit, RDH. Mel McDonagh, Senior Sister, and the team want to purchase comfort packs and improve the environment of one of their rooms specifically for women experiencing a miscarriage.
