Annual Making a Difference Awards 2024: Shortlist announcement

Annual MADA Sshortlist announcement

We are pleased to announce the individuals and teams who have been shortlisted for the Making a Difference Awards 2024.

The Making a Difference Awards recognise those who are going above and beyond to drive improvements in quality, patient care and supporting UHDB to be the best place to work.

Teams and colleagues across UHDB have demonstrated the trust values of compassionopenness and excellence and have gone above and beyond to either directly or indirectly provide exceptional care to our patients. This may be through improvements to quality and safety, supporting colleagues, or making positive changes across our sites, the local NHS system or even nationally.

Thank you to patients, relatives and colleagues who took the time to nominate a member of staff. This year we received an unprecedented 1,750 nominations sharing how #TeamUHDB have demonstrated our Trust values of excellence, compassion and openness.

We will be announcing the shortlists for all 10 categories across the week.
