Derby County star Tom Huddlestone sends message of support
Derby County midfielder Tom Huddlestone has sent a personal video message of support to the "unbelievable" staff at UHDB.
Huddlestone gave a special mention to staff at Royal Derby Hospital, particularly Senior Sister Nicki Hadfield and the rest of the team in the Intensive Care Unit, the porter and cleaners.
In the video, the Rams star says: "Everybody appreciates the unbelievable work you're doing. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this by the public staying home as we're advised to do, and letting the unbelievable NHS staff crack on with the great work they're doing."
This comes after colleagues at Queen's Hospital Burton received a phone call from Their Royal Heighnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to offer their condolences following the death of our consultant, Mr Amged El-Hawrani. Their Royal Heignesses offered their thanks to the team for their hard work and dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic
