Help teach the doctors of tomorrow

patient receiving treatment

You can help teach the doctors of tomorrow by taking part in our upcoming medical student clinical examinations as a volunteer.

We are looking for volunteers with some clinical knowledge or experience to act as role players for next year's medical student Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE).

Our Medical Education team will be holding an open day on Monday 20 January 2020, where you'll be able to find out more about becoming a volunteer patient for medical student training and clinical exams ... don't worry, they will only be simulated scenarios!

If you'd like to take part, it'd involve talking through your medical history or role playing a medical scenario with a small group of students and the students conducting a simulated examination.

For more information, contact dhft.ugpatients@nhs.net or 01332 789254 / 01332 788169.
