Temporary relocation of Blood Clinic at Queen's Hospital Burton

The Phlebotomy Clinic (Blood Clinic) at Queen's Hospital Burton has temporarily moved to the old nursery building, behind the Treatment Centre, while we complete some essential building work on the main hospital site.

The nearest car park is car park 1, which includes disabled parking bays, and there is a signposted pedestrian route from the car park to the phlebotomy clinic. You can also use drop-off bays located at the Treatment Centre.

Enter the hospital site opposite the petrol station adjacent to the double mini roundabouts, known as entrance A, and follow the road to the left. The map below details the parking and walking route.

All patients who require an appointment at the Blood Clinic have to book online using SwiftQueue. Everyone who has booked a clinic appointment, and all new bookings are being directly informed about the new location.

We understand this change may cause some inconvenience, but if patients have not read their SwiftQueue notification, colleagues at the main hospital will support patients with finding the new location. The pedestrian route is clearly signposted and our volunteer buggy service is supporting patients with limited mobility to travel to the clinic.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we continue to work towards improving care for our patients and communities.
