Thank your Cleaner Day
Every day, hundreds of skilled, hard-working cleaning staff are working 24/7 across our five hospital sites. Our Domestic and Cleaning Teams work day, night and weekends to keep our hospitals and work areas clean, safe and hygienic.
Wednesday, 21 October marks "Thank your Cleaner Day". It is important we recognise the hard work cleaners and domestic staff do and let them know they are valued and appreciated, especially after going above and beyond for our staff and patients throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic. We asked members of Team UHDB to give a shout out to their fantastic domestic/cleaning staff on their ward/department, here’s what they had to say:
