ISS Portering Team win Team of the Year award at IWFM awards
The ISS Portering Team at Royal Derby Hospital were awarded with the Team of the Year award at last night’s national IWFM Impact awards for providing an exceptional service.
This award celebrates outstanding workplace and facilities management teams and the positive impact that they have for their organisations and customers.
The winning nomination highlighted the team’s proactive and structured approach to work, particularly for going above and beyond the profession.
Director of Patient Experience, Estates and Facilities Management, Paul Brooks, attended the award event to show his support to the winning team. Paul said: “I am absolutely delighted that the RDH portering team have been recognised nationally for their dedication and professionalism at what has been a really difficult period for the Trust.
“They continued to literally keep us all moving and got our patients in the right place at the right time. The team do this with compassion on a level of personalisation that makes our patients feel safe.
“They are a credit to the Trust and I am so proud to be able to say I work with them.”
The team were absolutely thrilled with their win, especially after a turbulent eighteen months. ISS General Manager, Ian Oliver, said: “I am truly privileged to be able to see this teams great work every single day.
“Their dedication and commitment is inspiring.”
