The main entrance at Royal Derby Hospital will be temporarily closed from 7.30pm on Friday 30 June - 6am on Monday 3 July. This is to allow for essential maintenance work to be carried out.

If you are visiting our hospital during this time for an appointment or to visit a friend or relative, you will be able to access the hospital via Entrance 9 - which is located in between the main hospital building and Kings Treatment Centre on 'Blue Light Road'.

See below a Google Maps streetview of Entrance 9 for further information.

Wheelchairs will be available at Entrance 9 and the main entrance for those patients that require assistance. Shops and retail outlets at our main entrance, including Marks and Spencer and Costa, will remain open during this time. Our Volunteers will also be on hand to offer their assistance.
