Head Injury

Based at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital, we provide a coordinated rehabilitation programme for people who have suffered a traumatic brain injury, for example following an assault, accident or fall resulting in injury to the head. 

Support and advice is given to people and relatives to help them through the period of adjustment and change. This includes physical, psychological and social support. 

We link in with clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation medicine. Externally, we work in partnership with Headway, mental health, social services and the private sector.
