We are delighted that three UHDB apprentices have won in their respective categories at the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Apprenticeship Awards 2024 with four of our apprentices, and our organisation as a whole, being recognised as finalists for the awards.

Naomi Kinlock, Adam Allton, and Harriet Sowter have each emerged as winners in their respective categories, underscoring the incredible contribution apprentices make to our organisation.

The Radiotherapy department at Royal Derby Hospital is hosting an open day in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University to showcase the 'on the job' support and training available to students. 

We are proud to share the news that four UHDB apprentices have been shortlisted for the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Apprenticeship Awards 2024. These awards, sponsored by the University of Derby, celebrate the region's most talented apprentices, with winners set to be revealed on Thursday 3 October 2024 at The Village Hotel in Nottingham.

UHDB colleagues are hosting an upcoming careers fair at Queens Hospital Burton on Tuesday 30 April, from 4.30-7.30pm, taking place in the site's Education Centre (also known as the Outwoods site).

Titled the Future Workforce Careers Event , the aim of the event is to showcase the breadth of clinical and non-clinical careers available within UHDB and the wider NHS - providing a snapshot of possible routes into NHS organisations, including work experience opportunities to support with future applications.
